68-Bed Bourne View Nursing Home – Poole

Continuing our close relationship with Colten Care Group, Watertite Heating Ltd of Yeovil installed all Mechanical & Plumbing Services to Colten’s latest 68-Bed Nursing Home in Poole, a relationship stretching back over 9-Years.

Building services play a central role in contributing to the design of a building, not only in terms of the overall strategies and high standards to be achieved with Colten, but also in façade engineering, the weights, sizes and location of major plant and equipment, the position of vertical service risers, routes for the distribution of horizontal services, drainage, energy sources, sustainability, etc. This means that the building services design had to be integrated into the overall building design from a very early stage, and at Bourne View we again worked particularly closely with Mabey Francis and Colten on their latest flagship Nursing Home. Set in a nature reserve, Bourne View brings new standards in comfort and sophistication for later-life in Dorset.
