West Cliff Mansions – 42 Residential Apartments

A new high-rise contemporary block of high spec apartments, set in a conservation area, near to Bournemouth’s West Cliff, was constructed on behalf of the Bournemouth Development Company. The principal contractor (Parsons & Joyce) were keen to re-engage with Watertite Heating and electrical contractors Morlec, after a successful partnership project very recently completed at Lansdowne Church in Boscombe.

Watertite Heating Ltd has carried out the supply, installation and commissioning of the complete Mechanical & Plumbing Services Package to this prestigious new development of high specification modern apartments, set in a contemporary style building within Bournemouth’s West Cliff conservation area.

A cold water storage tank and booster set provides each of the 42 apartments with a suitable pressurized supply of cold water.

Each apartment has its own unvented Direct Megaflo cylinder to provide balanced hot water, and high end sanitaryware was selected by the client. Individual Venta Axia Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) Units were installed.

LTHW UFH with Screedboard was installed, with the heat source being individual Heatrae Sadia Amptec electric boilers.

All of the apartments were sold before the project was fully handed over.
